During these meetings and demonstrations, Dr. Bagwan and other field staff gave detail information on production of FYM compost by using NPK, NADEP compost, Vermicompost, vermin wash, Beejamrut, Jeevamrut, Amrutpani, Panchgavya, Dashparni extract, Agnishastra, Bhrmastra etc. and their timely application in mango orchard for properly INM and IPM.
Dr. Bagwan Sir visited my organic mango orchard many times and encouraged me for organic farming. He guide me how to prune mango trees, how to identify different insects, diseases and how to control them timely by using organic remedies. He also advised me to plant medicinal plants on orchard border. As per his advice I have planted some medicinal plants like Neem, Tulsi, Calatropis, Sitaphal etc. to prepare botanical pesticides and protect the crop from pests and diseases. I have constructed five vermin compost beds for the production of vermicompost and vermin wash. During last three years I produced 19MT vermicompost and 2500 liters of vermin wash. After three years of project my production cost is reduced by 65 to 80%, productivity is increased by 25 to 30% and quality of produce is improved. and over all my economic status is improved. I am highly thankful to Health and Nutrition Care Foundation and Dr. Bagwan Sir for providing services as and when I required. In brief my achievements of organic farming are mentioned as under.
